Brinca Prime Terms and Conditions
The “Brinca Prime” is the loyalty programme of the Brincatoys online store, promoted by Brincadeiras ao Cubo, Comércio de Jogos e Brinquedos, Lda. (NIPC 510204538), headquartered at Marina Plaza, Edifício Daytona Beach, Block 27-A, Shop 79, 8125-401 Quarteira (hereinafter, “Brincatoys”).
1. Scope and Participation
1.1. The Brinca Prime programme is valid exclusively on the online store www.brincatoys.pt. The physical Brincatoys store has a separate points programme.
1.2. Participation in Brinca Prime is free and implies full acceptance of these terms and conditions.
1.3. Formal enrolment and management of Brinca Prime benefits (balance inquiry, conversion, etc.) are carried out through customer registration on the website. To enjoy Credits and other benefits, the customer must be logged into their account during purchase.
1.4. The customer is responsible for keeping their details updated in the customer area.
2. Credit Accumulation (Balance)
2.1. For each purchase made on the Brincatoys online store, 4% of the product value (excluding shipping and taxes) is accumulated as Credit (“Balance”).
2.2. The Balance is accumulated based on the email used for the purchase, even if made as a "guest".
2.3. The Balance is credited to the Brinca Prime account associated with the purchase email after payment confirmation of the order.
2.4. The Balance calculation is made to the nearest cent (standard mathematical rounding).
2.5. The Balance is non-transferable between customers and cannot be directly converted into cash. Its use is restricted to the conditions defined herein.
2.6. The Balance has no expiry and remains valid while the Brinca Prime programme is active.
3. Exclusive Brinca Prime Benefits
3.1. "Boost Prime": 8% Online Cashback
3.1.1. On the last weekend of each month, all purchases made on the online store www.brincatoys.pt (linked to a Brinca Prime account or registration email) accumulate 8% of the product value as Credit, instead of the usual 4%.
3.1.2. The exact date of the “last weekend” will be communicated in advance on the website.
3.2. "See Before Buy It"
3.2.1. Brinca Prime members may request to view an online store item before purchase through two options:
a) Video Sample: Sending a short video of the product, focusing on details requested by the customer.
b) In-Store Availability: Preparation of the item(s) for viewing at our physical store, with no purchase obligation.
3.2.2. Requests can be made by contacting the online store through the usual channels. Brincatoys will confirm receipt and provide timelines for availability/shipping.
3.2.3. This service is free and does not require purchase of the item. Its purpose is to assist purchase decisions.
4. Balance Redemption (Online)
4.1. To redeem the accumulated Balance, the customer must be logged into their account on the website.
4.2. Redemption is made directly at the online store checkout as a payment method, always using the full available balance towards the order.
4.2.1. If the Balance is less than the order value: it is fully applied and the customer selects another method to pay the difference.
4.2.2. If the Balance equals the order value: it covers the total; the account Balance becomes €0.
4.2.3. If the Balance exceeds the order value: the necessary amount is applied and the remainder remains as Balance in the customer’s account.
4.3. Partial redemption of the Balance is not possible for online purchases.
5. Returns and Adjustments
5.1. In the event of a full refund of an online order, the Credit awarded for that purchase is immediately removed from the customer’s account and any Balance redeemed on that purchase is cancelled (or adjusted in the next transaction).
5.2. For partial refunds, the removal/adjustment of Credit is made proportionally to the returned item(s).
6. Balance Conversion (Online ⇄ Physical Store)
6.1. The Brinca Prime programme offers members the possibility to convert accumulated online Balance into points for use in the physical store, and vice versa (physical store points into online Credit).
6.2. Conversion must be requested via a dedicated form available in the customer area of the website www.brincatoys.pt.
6.3. Credit ⟷ Points conversion is always total (partial conversion of the available balance is not possible). The conversion rate is €1 Credit = €1 in points (or equivalent value in the physical store points programme, as defined at the time of conversion).
6.4. After the request, Brincatoys will process the conversion within a reasonable timeframe, informing the customer upon completion.
7. Communications
7.1. The Customer may be notified about their Brinca Prime Balance, benefits, and other relevant programme information by email and/or WhatsApp (according to preferences and consents given in their account).
8. Final Provisions
8.1. Brincatoys reserves the right to update these terms and/or modify, suspend or cancel the Brinca Prime programme at any time. The current version will always be published and accessible at brincatoys.pt.
8.2. In case of programme cancellation, a period may be granted for redemption or conversion of the remaining Balance, to be communicated on the website.
8.3. The Brincatoys General Terms of Sale and Privacy Policy apply subsidiarily and where not contradicted by these conditions, available on the website.
